Chef Joe Lumbrazo brings decades of culinary expertise and a passion for hospitality to The Butcher’s Market Catering, where he oversees day-to-day operations as Executive Chef. An award-winning chef and a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, Joe has spent his career crafting exceptional dining experiences, from luxury resorts to private clubs and acclaimed restaurants.
His journey has taken him from the kitchens of the Stouffer Grand Beach Resort in the Virgin Islands to the bustling dining scene of New York before making North Carolina his home. Over the years, he has cooked alongside culinary legends like Bobby Flay, Anthony Bourdain, and Mario Batali, while also earning recognition on The Food Network and Discovery Channel for his innovative approach to food.

Beyond the kitchen, Joe has dedicated himself to giving back through his work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s An Evening with Master Chefs, a cause he has supported over the years. His commitment to charity extends to organizations like the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Bridge II Sports Valor Games, using his culinary talents to make a difference in the community.

Now, as he leads The Butcher’s Market Catering, Joe is focused on blending premium ingredients from The Butcher’s Market with his creative culinary vision to elevate catering in Wake County. His goal is to establish the brand as the go-to choice for exceptional events, one unforgettable meal at a time.
When he’s not in the kitchen, Joe enjoys fishing and spending time with his two grown children, Mikie and Lila.
